Lakeview & Wildlife in Au Gres

It was good to get away for some R & R. Positive: the house was quiet and off the beaten path as far as traffic was concerned. The inside of house was clean and had most everything we needed. Communication per email and text went well, which I appreciated. Negative: windows needed washed, but wasn't a game changer for us. It seemed like a long drive to see/do anything and many of the attractions were only opened a day here ad there, but we managed. Of course that also was something we liked--to be off the beaten path a bit. Guess you can't have it all.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and the place was clean. We had a blast watching the birds; saw red-headed woodpeckers - a first for me.

Nice clean place

It’s always an amazing get away! All the cabins are spacious, comfortable, and have everything you need. The teenagers loved the nature, kayaking and fishing and Jeff is so accommodating, making sure everyone has a good stay! (Even when you add on last minute changes)

This place was very clean and equipped with most stuff you may need. The beds were decently comfy but not the best. The pictures show the water being a little closer to shore out back but its more swampy then it looks. It was a beautiful view though sunset and sunrise where beautiful. The bathroom was nice towels were nice not old and yucky looking. The shower could use some grips on the floor because its offly slippery when wet in there. There is few chairs for fire and deck but no table and chairs to eat outside and enjoy the view and weather. Maybe they could add one? The fire wood is a awesome deal you get so much for the price so make sure if you like fires to buy this too. All and all beside those few little things it was a beautiful place and clean. We enjoyed our 3day weekend here. We will definitely come back to enjoy another stay.
